The start line has always been the most difficult part to get past for me.
The start line is so nerve-racking!! It’s so intense!!! Aahh, it’s like that moment you wait for the little cap gun or whatever to go off can make you or break you in the race if you are or are not prepared for it. You got to be on your toes, ready to run at any split second. It’s so exciting and scary at the same time! Ever since the first grade when I started doing track and field I have been nervous about the beginning, watching my peers move towards the event, the line up, the check to see if everyone is ready, the 3-2-1-Go!; everything that makes up the start line. The breathing. The sweat. The drive. The competition. The win. The loss. The freedom. The race.
